Terms of Service

What Sondons is

Sondons is a polling platform. Creators publish polls and quizzes; participants answer them. Completing a poll or quiz may enter you in a creator-run prize draw or unlock a participation reward. Sondons provides the platform — not the prizes.

Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Sondons.
• Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• Company accounts can create and manage polls and quizzes but cannot answer or rate them, or enter prize draws. Use a personal account to participate.
• You may sign in with email and password, or with Google if you register as an individual (company accounts cannot use Google). Email verification is required for password accounts.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Optional two-factor authentication (TOTP) is available after you set a password; you are responsible for your backup codes and trusted devices.

Subscriptions (Pro)

• Pro is an optional paid subscription for individuals and companies, billed through Stripe (monthly or yearly).
• New subscribers may get one free trial per account. After the trial, a payment method is required to continue; there is no second free trial.
• Manage, switch plans, or cancel in Settings → Billing (Stripe Customer Portal). Stripe processes payments; Sondons does not store full card numbers.
• Pro unlocks higher open-poll and prize-pool limits, respondent demographics on results, advanced results filters, and the AI poll builder. Free accounts keep core create-and-answer features within posted limits.

AI poll builder

Pro includes an optional AI poll builder. You choose the AI provider (xAI or OpenAI) in Settings → Preferences. Drafts are AI-generated for your review; you remain responsible for content you save or publish. Sondons does not auto-save or auto-publish AI output.

Prizes and lottery

• Poll creators offer prizes and are solely responsible for delivering them. Declared values, codes, and redemption instructions are the creator’s responsibility. Draw prizes and participation rewards (shared codes) are both creator-run.
• Sondons does not fulfill, ship, escrow, insure, or guarantee any prize. We are not a party to delivery between creator and winner.
• Only signed-in respondents enter lottery draws. Guests may answer when allowed but are not entered until they claim the response onto an account (if the draw has not run yet). The poll creator is never eligible for their own draw. One entry per user per poll applies unless we say otherwise.
• After a draw, winner display names and claim status may be public. The poll creator receives the winner’s legal name and email for delivery only.
• Winners typically have 7 days to claim on the winners page. Unclaimed slots may expire and the creator may redraw within platform limits. After claim, the creator marks a prize sent and the winner confirms receipt.
• If delivery stalls while a prize is claimed or sent, either party may contact Sondons via About us. We may help mediate; we do not promise to force delivery or pay out ourselves.

Your content and acceptable use

• You are responsible for polls, quizzes, questions, prize descriptions, and answers you submit. Do not use polls to collect sensitive personal data without a lawful basis and appropriate consent.
• Do not post illegal content, fake or misleading prizes, harass others, abuse multi-accounts to game draws, scrape the service, or use bots without permission.
• You grant Sondons a license to host and display your content as needed to operate the service.
• We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules or harm trust in the platform.

Answers and results

Answers may appear in aggregate results. Creators may browse individual responses depending on poll settings. Pro creators may see respondent demographics (gender, age, country) and use advanced results filters when the poll does not anonymize responses; anonymization hides participant names and demographics from the creator’s individual browse. Anonymization does not hide winner identity from the creator when a prize must be delivered.

Service and liability

Sondons is provided “as is.” Features may change and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sondons is not liable for prize disputes between users, creator non-delivery, or losses from relying on poll results, AI-generated drafts, or other user content.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material updates will be reflected by the “Last updated” date on this page.
